    Secret Trekkie/Trekker handshakes...

They most likely involve something really nerdy and gross. :-B [face_sick]

Don't get around much in the Trekkie circles do you? Trek fans, just like fans of any other franchise, are the worst critics of their love. Trek fans love to hate Trek. Brannon and Braga? Voyager and Enterprise? The odd-numbered movies? Leaving out the Spock/Saavik relationship from the films? Kirk dying in Generations?

That's just to name a very very few...

I believe it existed before that. The novelization of ST:II I believe mentions it.
And many of the "EU" novels mention it, and the "Vulcan" series that's out now comes right out and says they are married.

^^Now, of course, we are entering the dreaded canon v non cannon. My take on that ..... I have no take. If I like the book/comic it is cannon, if not it is not cannon! LOL I just ordered the new Next Gen novel - Resistence - which has the Borg in it. I'll probably make that cannon - always liked the Borg.

I like the fact that they are married in the time period of Next Gen - what a long courtship! BTW - what do you think of Uhura being the head of Starfleet Intelligence? A logical - pardon me -extention of her previous role as a communications officer.

    Peace,

She was in the first POTC movie...

    From Askmen.com:

"Zoe shivered our timbers as the lady swashbuckler in 2003's Pirates of the Caribbean, but her onscreen time was all too brief. Fortunately, her gorgeous looks and expert dance moves will be showcased more and more as her fame rises...."

She might just make a great Uhura...

Will they give her fighting scenes?
