So, what the heck are ya doing?

Must be nice to be surfing the net in school. I did all kinds of real boring stuff in school. That was back when it was a real thrilling thing to see a computer in a classroom!

So are you new here? FanForce and the Jedi Council?

 

not really, i'm actually an old member's sock.

 

When I was in high school (which was only like a few years ago) the thought of going on the internet on the computers in the library was actually frightening. Those librarians were REALLY mean and if you strayed from the "research" you were supposed to be doing, you got yelled at. But you have a lot more freedom at the comm. college I go to. And a lot more computers!

 

at our school the libraians are real nice (unless u break a rule) and our school distric has a T1 connection.

 

So, if we stop seeing you, we'll know you were a bad boy!

Did we (any of us St. Louis folks) know the foot that your sock goes to?

I wasn't at Capricon... I was in Washington DC!!!!! Having a great time! I went on a tour of the FBI building, talked to any secret service guy I could find on teh white house tour, went to almost all of the memorials, spent a day on capitol hill... even met a louisiana senetor in an elevator and he gave me a bottle of tabasco sauce... And I got to ride on the coolo subways between the house offices, the senate offices, and the capitol! And one of my friends got kicked out of the house of Reps, because she was videotaping it! It was great!

DarthAthena- Glad you had so much fun! I remember going in '98 and I had a lot of fun, too. But I wish we would have toured the FBI building now that I think about it. I would have asked if they've ever met Mulder and Scully, even though I'm sure they get that a lot! Must of been cool!
