Wish I could get into hockey, maybe I should try again. In the sandcrawler kitchen is now cooking: Pepperoni pasta salad, and chocolate chip cookies! (what a combo) So far I haven't gotten too much sand into the cookie dough :-D

it's been slow because i've been at the grand canyon, i hiked all the way down and back in three days. i was supposed to do nothing on the day between the in and out hikes, but my dad dragged me on a 13 mile hike that did NOT help when we hiked out

My husband and I have been talking about making that our next big vacation and doing the hike down and up. Aside from the strenuous aspect, how did you like it?

 

it was VERY beutiful, VERY. bring plenty of film if you plan on taking picktures. also, you had better not expect to be able to hike in and out on the same day. easy way to kill yourself also, there is a place at the bottem called Phantom Ranch, nice place, has little cabins and a place to eat. but if you don't want to wait for 2 years for reservations, you can camp on the ground.
