well, another person who wont be going out with friends and drinking etc.

All my mates took off to the Mount on the 30th

1/ I don't really have the money to go
    2/ I can see what's gonna happen

And the few that didn't cruise down - are doing other ****.

    <sigh>

This year has gone DAMN FAST, I must say!

    Happy New Years everyone. :D

Oh god, you guys aren't going to be here on your computers when the New Year hits are you. Look, just go to your local super market and alcahol store and buy your favourite alcholic beverage x 8. Get yourself wasted, then just go for a walk around the streets. You'll find yourselves making friends left and right and having the time of your life. And in the morning, you'll feel great!

The only new years eve I stayed up til midnight was the millenium.

It doesn't really interest me much. I don't drink either, so that pretty much rules out any partying with friends.

Friend's at the mount, ay SFL? Apparently there's 150 police out there confiscating all the alcohol. They'll probably get enough to cover all police parties for five years to come.

    Petition for [ZZZzzzz_face]
    B. Bumble
    S.F. Lord

Raz - Not everyone has money to burn like you seem to. (even though thats a crime [face_plain]) And Drinking is not always about getting 'sh|tfaced'. You can drink to be social and not go overboard. A true man knows when to say "thats enough thanks".

    sheeeeesh - I didn't think I'd change THAT mush when I turned 18! :p ;) :D

    kitt: Yea I know - that's a reason why i didnt go!

I was thinking after logging off last night - and yes, it did hurt. :p

2002 is THE palindrome year for this century (and a bit), ie. same "spelt" backwards as forwards.

The last two were 1881 and 1991 next one ain't due until 2112. :)

Hmm, here's a question. Are we the only generation to live through two of them?

Kitt327: Are we the only generation to live through two of them?

    Nope.

There would have been a generation for the 1001 and 999 years (ignoring anybody who perhaps saw 1881 and 1991)

Plus, before 999 they get closer together (ten years apart), eg.
    999, 989, 979, 969, 959, 949, 939, 929, 919, 909, 898, 888, 878, ...

    lol @ JP!

yea - but they're all 1000 years between them

like the 999 etc were relatively close - from now on they are spaced far apart.

    nevermind :p
