Wash, DC New Years/Christmas Party

Hallo everyone...the missus has asked everyone to please "R.S.V.P." so we can get an accurate head-count...so Granny and Uncle Jedi know how much "vittles" we needs to make... and who's not a meateater so we can provide meatless goodies for the afore mentioned not meateaters.

 

Target & I are coming. We love meat...the more the better

 

Kory and I will be there. Bring on the aforementinoed meat!

Incidentally, we're going to need directions too.

Ken and I plan to be there, though we probably have to leave shortly after 12 to make sure our young wards come home.

And we're top of the food chain as well, so bring on the tasty meat products.

 

Jeremy and I will be there, we both eat meat as well, although I might partake in some meatless goodies, and I'll settle for just an address

 

Directioms...I'llhave Vicki handle that, she'll work out how. Hold on

 

At this point, Brandon and I are still coming, if this changes I will let you know.

Bring on the meat, soy and whatever else you can gather, but no Shark Fin Soup please!!!

The costumes are ready as well as the NYE hats and noisemakers.

Awww too bad Wendy The Jedi Chef (and believe me, he's still in training!) regret that you will not make it, and since he doesn't drink, I will have 2 drinks for you!

And now a note to everyone else attending. If you can bring a bottle of inexpensive champagne it is apprecialted. Potato chips are good also.

 

Thanks to Ken and Vicky for hosting the party last night! All 4 of us had a great time...despite the Star Wars Holiday Special

Next year I have to find a way to get everyone up here for the Mummer's Parade.

 

I think the party at Ken's is going to be an annual thing, though. It was a blast, literally (no officer, we were not shooting off illegal fireworks). I could have made it through the whole holiday special, though. I don't know who it was that cracked first, but it wasn't me!

 

I missed the Holiday Special?? Blast it!! Sorry I couldn't make it to the party, it sounds like it was fun.

 

The funnest part was the simulated cries of dying animals. I'm still chuckling over that one, LOL.

Eugenia, it took me till yesterday to get that tattoo off. It turned into random odd colors on my hand and I scraped it off! Eeep! Stronger than we thought, LOL!

Oh boy the Holiday special...well at least Boba Fett was tolerable in that one. I remember from childhood that and something about the Chewie family standing there. I don't remember the suicide inducing Bea Arthur parts.

Incidentally, when Chewie get's old, toothless and grey like "Itchy" (yes I know what happens in the EU) should we start calling him "Gummy"?

 

And would that make Han "Scratchy?"

 

I suspect now that they killed off Chewie in the novels so he wouldn't turn out like Itchy!

Had a great time! Minxy, I think I cracked first, followed by Eugenia and it was all downhill from there LOL It sunk everyone into a deep funk...lets not watch that again

 

Aaaawwww...the Holiday Special isn't that bad.It would need Jackie Gleason, Paul Lynde and the June Taylor Dancers to make it that bad.
Someone should have given poor Art Carney a nice gold medal of somekind...you don't just wear an open shirt without a medalion.

To be honest, I thought it was great. Not the sort of thing I'd watch on my own, but with an entire room full of people to make fun of it with, it was entertaining. But then, I have a sick and twisted mind, so maybe that's it. My favorite part was the itchy fantasy scene. I couldn't get past the fact that something like that was in a movie with Star Wars in the title
