Oceania New Year's Eve Party!

Well, it's soon to be 2002 and I am sitting at my computer with a glass of bubbly and nary a friend in sight.

Pathetic? Hell no! I think it's a mark of independence!










Okay. I guess it is pathetic. Anyone want to join me for a glass of champagne?

Would you like chips and dip with that? I have a table of nibbles set up by the wall. The vegan safe stuff is in the far corner.

 

Chips and dips will do fine although this champagne is going to my head, as it does.

 

I could make you a nice shandy instead, if you like MM.

Just something without alcohol thanks.

I knocked off work only a couple of hours ago, and everyone I would have spent NYE with is out of Canberra, so I'm spending it vegging.

 

Just knocked off your lucky, I'm stuck here till 7am.

 

I went to Sydney and watched the fireworks from Mrs Maquaries' Chair (perfect view of the bridge) with a group of friends. Pretty spectacular stuff, though I can't figure out why Uluru was yellow

 

Well the Newcastle festivities lived up to their fizzer standards. At least last year they had fireworks at midnight. This year... well at least some people brought some from home.

Hope you all had a good one.

 

I had fun watching the next door neighbours try to throw crackers at our pups then deny it to my parents despite burnt stuff all over our yard. Hope they like the police

 

Had fun , went down to the foreshore, across from glouster Park and watched the fireworks, with some one special

I sat at home with my relos and played scrabble and triominoes, drank lots of wine. All my cousins went partying

 

i don't usually go out on NYE , but i thought why not

 

went up to redcliffe to visit a friend, and then at midnight, amidst the whistles and cheers and sound of distant fireworks, there was a lound MMMOOOOOOOOOO MOOOOOO!!!


Still trying to figure that one out.... ?

 

As usual I DJed this new years. The difference was that instead of DJing a huge party, this time it was a small party at our place with just a few ppl. A nice change.

 

Red Dwarf marathon on fox
with breaks for the fireworks of course

 

I probably spent a good 6 hrs watching Red Dwarf at my friends house on UKTV with a bottle of coke and corn chips

 

Went to Harbour Beats in Sydney. I'm even getting my ticket refunded cos they screwed up the event pretty bad.
