Looks like the 8th has it, I will give this till the 8th of July to get numbers. I am waiting on information from Shads, but either way, a venue will be booked on Wednesday. $10 deposit will be needed asap.

Toddi suggested the other night that if Christmas is in July, maybe New Years should be in August? So do we make this a new years dinner/Party? Poppers, streamers and such? Thoughts everyone?

The idea of it being New Years in August actually came from Guri & DLA, but I think it's a wonderful idea!

    It'll be a New SAFF Year! :p

    What does everyone else think?

Mmmm, what a variety of stuff. Decisions decisions.

Morphett Arms doesn't have a menu on its website. Will need them to email it or pick one up. According to their website, main course prices range from $13- to $22.50.

Hopefully have an update on availability soon.

Pity the 8th of August is a bit of a funny date [face_thinking][face_worried] for us, but the whole of August is like that anyway.

Happy (really really late) Winter Solstice? :p

Nah, I think the New Years idea is great, but will just end up as any other 'party' dinner or are we still leaning towards a formal/semi-formal occasion?

I do like the NY idea also.

I realise that we seem to have settled with the Ed, which is fine, but I have the Morphett Arms sending through menus as we speak. (Hopefully!)

They're also available on the 8th. That being said, they need to move screens around to create a private room, so in that respect, the Ed is probably better...
