Also, when applying to become an adopter, you can choose to specify any preferences ([b]i.e.[/b] gender, age, interests) that may aid you or the Coordinator in finding your ideal [b][color=darkslateblue]Adoptee[/b][/color]. [b][color=maroon]Oldbies[/b][/color] may only adopt one [b][color=darkslateblue]Newbie[/b][/color] at a time; requests by [b][color=maroon]Oldbies[/b][/color] to adopt another [b][color=darkslateblue]Newbie[/b][/color] will only be heard via [link=http://boards.theforce.net/user.asp?usr=726885][i]Private Message[/i][/link] and granted with just cause. Awww... Thanks, I figured i'd attempt to include those main three posts that MASTER_OBI-DAN originally had used on the main page, but never anywhere else. As so that any incoming Newbies would understand and know of all the places and information they may review to help them better. And much of this info is quite important even to the Oldbies .

I'd like to personally thank-you for standing up and volenteering, it takes a great commitment to give your self over, I am greatly appreciative in all that everyone has done to show not only their support as we begin anew. I will need of course the name of the forums to which you most frequently post at, and then you will be all set for the list!

I post in all of the JC Community, except for the Senate Floor. LucasFilm Projects. This place. And that's about it... I do post at other places, but not at a consistent rate... yet, I'll let you know if I do.

Lastly, for all those [b][color=maroon]free oldbies[/b][/color] who are extremely anxious to adopt a cute [b][color=darkslateblue]Newbie[/b][/color], we currently have [b]14[/b] on the list waiting to be adopted. [face_happy] So please, take them! And help them out! [face_silly]

 

Stridarious I looked through Dark_l ord_Ani posts and I think I would like to take him adopit him. If that's ok with him and you that is

I could not make that decesion, I would highly suggest that you first PM him and make sure that he is intersted in being adopted by you or to make sure someone else hasn't already asked him to be their Adoptee you know, as a saftely measure. Once you have found out for sure, have both him and yourself post here, and I will then add you to the listings . As you know I just need to be sure.

Perhaps I should say that I'm kind of shy, and it's not in my nature to contact strange people and ask them to adopt me, so if you're thinking about adopting me, you'll have to send me a PM or something.

And I'd prefer a female to adopt me. Just because I would feel more comfortable with a woman.

Hey Strid, last thread i saw you posting 3 or 4 updates per page, which i could barely load on cable connection, maybe you should post an update every page or so?

 

If your connection can?t handle it, maybe you should go to options, then click on Change Your Display Settings. Poor, poor, Benji.

I must appologize, I try to do two updates a day, no more no less. One in the morning and one at Night. However, for me it would be harder to go through that many posts and notices posted by you (the members) in order that I may post your names into certian areas of this list correctly. I will try my best to be sure that it loads quickly, however I doubt its the amount of posts, but the amount of Codes in that opening post. And that I cannot fix without major alterations .

Sadly yes, it was after I talked with Morgaine about opening this new thread that we both noticed the need to make a new one, one that didn't have MASTER_OBI-DAN's name as the opening post, so that it would not confuse any new members joining up with us.
Besides I wanted to add in some great info that I felt needed to be returned to the listing. After all, its all directed towards our Adopters & even Adoptees. I am also looking into many new cool ideas, which will be shared later on as time allows .

 

I'm so glad to see the Newbie Adoptions in good hands, although I was getting ready to volunteer myself when I saw the old one wasting without Master Obi-Dan, although the right person has been chosen. Great job on this, Stridarious!

I'll take anybody. Just give me a name and I'll volunteer my services. I actually sent a PM to Master_ObiDan a couple of days ago. Where is he? and why is he not the Newbie Adoption Coordinator anymore?

Captain_Sarcasm:MASTER_OBI-DAN has stepped down due to problems in RL and will be leaving the JC permenently. I know we're all sorry to hear this but there's nothing we can do.

Strid:I don't think I qualify to be a adopter yet right? But once I do I promise that I will adopt ASAP.

 

That's to bad about Dan. He seemed like a nice guy in his Pm's to me. Hope everything works out for him.
