Can I be a born again newbie? It's been a long time since I've posted here. It might be longer before the next time too. Deployments are crazy.

I was the only Sandtrooper at Starfest with a grey pauldron and a *REALLY* big gun. Rachel (my wife) wore her TIE armor that I had *just* finished the night before, and on Sunday she wore her Princess Leia ANH outfit. Rachel and I gave Mac a ride back to P-town to spare him the mental anguish of public transportation.

Psshhhh...had we known he was coming, we could've eliminated the whole thing altogether. Finally more sci-fi nuts in P-town!

I'll be working with Mac soon to get his Royal Guard helmet actually wearable, too...or make it bigger...whichever comes first.

speaking of which, has anyone heard from him in a bit?

 

Yes...finally. I like how quiet P-town is, but sometimes it's just TOO quiet.

We'll need to actually organize some sort of event down here or in Springs this summer...maybe an armor/gear/costume par-tee or somethin'. Too bad we don't have anything like Dave & Buster's (which, unfortunately, Rachel and I won't be able to make it to this weekend).

 

we can organize when ever is good for people. im not sure where a good location would be though.

 

*shrug* Dunno. Our place is always open, but since we're saving up for a house and still living in the duplex we've been in since college, we don't have all kinds of room. 4-6 people over would be fine, but more than that and we'd have to spar for who gets comfy seats.

And we're all probably as rusty as each other.

 

ehh. no worries. i have been brushing up on my skills. i would win you a seat.
