    This is my third visit to the boards here at theforce.net
    but first post here in this thread.

    I was wondering if any one that was part of the chat boards over at «swforums.wotf.net» came here?? they were some very cool chaters. not that any one here is not. I am sure your all just as cool. :) I was just wondering because that other site closed down a wile back.

    I have been chating online with star wars fans since 1995 back when I had aol under the name: Rtoo?? I do not remember the hole name and I was: IGeighty8

    I don't know if we have any poster from that chatforum, but chances must be high that they are somewhere around here. Why not start a thread in the JC community about it.

    Well this is officially my fifth post in these fine forums. :D So I suppose I'm still a "newbie", right? Anyways....I was wondering something....I've been asked by a few to start a FanForce here in my city...how do I go about doing this?

    First where are you from? Have you checked if there is a Fanforce around already? If not you need to find at least two other members who are willing to participate. Then a good thing is to start a thread in FanForce communications requesting your own forum for you city, you could also take contact your Regional Support Administrator about it directly.

    When you have your forum you organise a meeting, tell your RSA about it so the meeting announcement can be posted on the FanForce main page. After three such meetings, with at least three people attending you are an official FanForce chapter, and you should elect a City (Chapter) Representative who could keep contact with the administration here on the boards.

    Hope that wasn't too long. :)

    but most of the time the chaters there do not chat about star wars. ??
