No problem. That's why I didn't lock this down right away. It's just that you guys are almost all of the posts in this forum, and it is supposed to be about adjusting to the JC culture, getting to know the rules, etc. You're discussions really belong over there.

Ok, it's time to seriously talk about the move.

What options do we have?
JCC, FFC, GSFF(?), another board?
My favourite is still the FanForce. Community is too big IMO, and I'd rather stay here at the JC.

ezBoards have a lot of advertising, there are better places than that.
The good thing about a new board is of course the privacy... we could even make it password-protected.
But I'd still prefer to stay here, I think.

OK, shall I contact Senoj and tell her we got a visit from an admin telling us to move?

 

Well, we need to come up with something soon. JCC is too big. Fanforce is better. Only so many go there compared to JCC. Ezboard is fine, but that may be a last resort. So far, we have Laura's board and Rick's. Neither have pop-ups on them.

Julia, we can still talk here on PM. We'd have to go back and forth between them. Plus, if Pat can't swing it, then we'll either keep it in FanForce general. Or go to EZboard.

Senoj can only do so much Cole. Admins have final say.

I think FF General would be OK. But what would we call the thread?

And slight problem with EZboards is the 100 post limit. Unless you pay, you have to keep on starting new threads for the same subject... VERY annoying, believe me...

I've got a thread over in the Southern England board that's supposed to be for newbies but has pretty much become a social place for me and a couple of others (there really are only three of us there.) Here's a link. I wonder what the guys will think if we all tramp over there...

It's up to you about Senoj. We can let them shut this down and start Version 2. She did say we're in charge now. So, as one of the members of the thread, I say let them close it. Start Version 2.0 and open in FanForce. PM all the regulars here and tell them. If Pat can swing it, we see about getting it move to GSFF. Otherwise, FanForce it is.

 

Would the mods let us have our own chat room over on FanForce??
