Winter here has been cruddy and warm. I demand a BLIZZARD! THREE BLIZZARDS! I wanna see snow on the ground in JUNE!

Same with here. This week, we may have temperatures towards the 60 degree mark.

I am not happy. Not happy at all. This winter was a big letdown.

 

I liked this winter. There were some really cold days (so snow though) but the sun was always out and there were no storms. My area usually has some major storms and a lot of wind. Of course there was no rain either and that is bad for the water supply.

 

I finally have a move date! I'm moving to my new apartment on March 1st! Next week, I go sign the lease and pay the security deposit.

It's bittersweet as I like where I'm living currently, even with the gang violence and crime. But, Misty Ridge will be a permanent place for me to live, with closer laundry facilities. I'll just be lugging my laundry across the parkinglot, rather than six blocks down the road.

 

Considering that there was a shooting two blocks away from here, the new place should be much better than where I am!

Though, I don't know how I'm gonna be able to sleep. It will be so peaceful!

We've barely had anything in the way of winter here (it was in the 50s today), and I love it! I hate the cold.

 

Can I have some of that warm air, Nat? It's hovering around freezing at my place, and it's all clear out. Why can't the clouds come back and bring their heat with them?

 

Bummer Yeah, it's in the 50s here still. I'm in a tank top.

I'm not sure if I'm much of a Newbie anymore, but I wanted to come here anyway.

Keeping with the weather topic, the temperature at my home has been up and down like mad. While walking home from school today I unzipped my jacket, whle this morning I had both the jacket and my hat on tightly!

 

I'm still newer than you.

Today's weather was nice, hoodie weather. I still don't like it. It's weird and abnormal and unlike winter.

Welcome back, Paddy. I think that the term you are looking for is Thesaurus, not dictionary.

 

I am no Dinosaur! And yes--Thesaurus is what I meant to say. But people used to always ask me for spellings and words too.

 

Then, do I have the job for you! Come to York and take my place when I move. I'm asked constantly how to spell words, mostly simple words, like "magazine," "ma'am," "advantage," etc.
