I am a newbie as well just joined. I am from Shrewsbury. I got word of the fanforce forum from a member of one of the yahoo SW groups I am in. So I figured I would give it a try. I have been in MA for 4 yrs now and still trying to adjust to life outside of the Midwest. lol

Thanks for the welcome. The weather isn't too bad. I prefer more hot and humid. At least it isn't like MN where if it is 90 it feels like 65/70. lol Then again anything is cool for a person that used to work on roofs of factories and commercial buildings. lol

My biggest adjustment has been getting used to the people, lifestyle, cost of buying a house, and attitude of the East Coast. lol I'm definitely not in Chi-town or Minne any more. lol

That would be a large adjustment anywhere.

We should be getting back to business soon with meets and posting.

Thanks for the welcome. I was looking for a place to be able to meet up with people with similar interests. Since moving to MA like more than 4 yrs ago I haven't had much time to meet people outside my wife's circle of friends. Every where I have worked at so far has either moved out of state or outsourced so I haven't been able to get many friends. lol I currently work two jobs which leaves no time at all. lol

Anyway, I know what you mean about groups being slow int he summer time. The yahell group I am in is kinda slow right now as well. They are some pretty cool people and I have met a few of them at C3. That was pretty cool.

I look forward to attending some functions and gatherings. There is a bunch of stuff going on here soon that I didn't even know about so it should be interesting.
