Newbies, Newbies everywhere...

Wow, there have been tons of newbies in the past few months. I wondered why not have an "official" newbie thread to introduce everybody to each other...


So, tell us your name, age, location, and any other info you want!

If this is redundant, then we can lock it, but I figured this would be better than hunting through 6 threads to find out about people.

Well, yeah you are a newbie Raanic. You may not be all that new to the JC, but you are new to the Boston board.

 

THere is a rather large newbie thread, you know. We don't need another.

 

Well, the old one is way out of wack. We have had more posts there about things off topic than what it was supposed to be used for.
I think this is fine. For the new round of newbies to check in.

 

I couldn't find the old one.

 

Don't worry about it, just let the newbies post what they will in this thread.

Hi,

My name is John, I am 28, from Providence RI. There is not much activity down here, so I have been posting in the Boston threads. My first appearance at a meet will be at the Randolph screening of AOTC (Meet 12), unless I can make it to Meet 10. I look forward to meeting all of you, even though it looks like I am going to be one of the older members, I just hope I do not hear anyone ask "Where did you dig up that old fossil?"

 

Don't worry about age guys. We treat it at meets as we do on the boards- no one cares.

Yeah, but we always have the newest member to change the "old folks'" Depends at the meets!


I think our motto is "Age is your state of mind." At all of the meets I've been to, the quality of Boston Rebel has been superb. No one acts the stereotypical teenager; it would be very hard to tell that people ranging from 15 - 30 were sitting at the table.

 

So if I'm posting this a 2nd time, does that make me not a newbie??
