King St Maccas is a really rough spot at about 3 or 4AM. Not recommended. The cops have cracked down on it in the past year or so though.

I don't know about Tuggerah. I really like the Glendale centre. I think if I wasn't going to go there, I'd need a really good reason. Like premiere in Sydney perhaps.

 

Yeah because Glendale is sooooo much safer and no one wears ugh-boots.

You can't fool me, you know. I went to Glendale High Scool !! Even before it became a Technology High !!

 

The only thing that steals your money at Glendale Supercentre is the dodgy air hockey table!

 

And the Candy Bar ...

 

And what's so scary about Tuggerah ??

 

I don't think there's anything wrong with Tuggerah, it's just I'd rather go here or down to Sydney itself. Tuggerah is just a bit in the middle of nowhere for me.

I don't mind Tuggerah at all though. But I've only been there 3 times over the years.

 

Tuggerah is about 45-60 min away from me

Glendale is about 20-30 min away

Maitland is about 10-15 min away


Hmmmm. Midnight showing at Maitland?

What !! You live 10 minutes from Maitland ?? What do you live at Bero or Taro or something ?? If so there's no hope for you anyway !!

What about in town ?? At the Towers or Kensington or whatever ??

 

No way! They're way too old for Star Wars movies. We might as well go to that little one near the Uni that's name has escaped me...

I'm probably closer to Charlestown myself, but the Glendale setup is far more superior.

 

Theres nothing wrong with Tuggerah. I used to live there you know..

 

It's called The Regal. We used to call it "The Flea-Pit". I have seen some awesome movies there !! Clockwork Orange every time it comes on for example....

Where else can you get a movie ticket for under $5 ?


Sure, you have to wait 6 months for the movie to show there, but still...

 

...and the "alternative" movies they used to show there.

What about the Boolaroo Cinema ?? They used to always show double features.

 

What happened to the Novos?

 

Glendale cinema rocks - I (and a gaggle of friends) rolled in there for the midnight opening of Episode I - many moons ago - and even though we had to put up with the front row - the knob who bought the tickets took his time, IT WENT OFF - even if I had to put up with a Nerf Herder beside me who was trying to talk through it (some people have NO CONCEPT!!!!!) - I shut him up with a saber blow to the head - (kidding) - Anyway back to the main point, if there is going to be a gathering - I think the super screen will be the way to do it.

well as a central coast native i'd just like to warn you all away from Tuggerah. its one of the worst places to be at any time of night.

I'd stay away during the day, too.
