Thanks for checking with Exploris. As you've probably already heard, we're trying to get a statewide FanForce group here and make an IMAX viewing of AOTC as part of the package deal.

What's the nearest IMAX that will have AOTC? I skipped out on the digital showing because the nearest one was in Memphis.

I really hope they show AotC at Exploris! I contacted them as well, and got about the same response, both on the phone and by email.

I'm afraid I can't come on the 12th. I'll be in Jacksonville, NC (no idea where that is) at a competition. Saturdays from now until after Oct 26 are pretty much shot for me, competitions are every Saturday.

    But I hope y'all will have a blast! :D

Jacksonville is down here by me - about 45 minutes north of Wilmington, actually quite close since most of that time is due to traffic.

Would anyone be up for a game of Star Wars monopoly?

I've contacted the manager of Exploris' IMAX. They are still in contract negotiations as to the length of time they have to play AOTC, but it looks like a Fri November 1 opening.

No movie showing times locked in as of yet.

so is the version coming to the IMAX theatre here in Raleigh the digital one?

Just curious. I'm still not sure which version I saw at the theatre. It has been said that the digital one had the shot at the end with Anakin's mechanical hand. I've seen AotC three times in the theatre and every time I saw his mechanical hand.

I might have to take the trip to the IMAX theatre if it shows there. :)

Rick McCallum said the difference was that in the digital version: Padme takes Anakin's mechanical hand in hers.

In the film version: they just show his mechanical hand.
