Next-gen consoles and LucasArts

Anyone heard anything specific about Star Wars games for the xbox360, PS3 or revolution?

 

No, but Lucasarts has signed on to make games for the 360.

 

Which will be way cool!

 

For the 360, you say? Makes sense, since it is made by Microsoft and LucasArts is big on PC games.

 

I hope they make the most of it and contract out some killer games to developers that will make full use of the 360's performance.

 

KotOR 3 is an obvious choice for the Next-Gen. Probably at least 2 Indiana Jones games. And I would bet on Mercanares 2. I wouldn't be suprised if we see only 1 or 2 SW games on the Next-Gen consoles, and even more surprised if they aren't just sequels.

Here is what I think (from what I have read/heard):
Battlefront 3 - I don't want to say we will never see this, but I strongly doubt it.
KotOR 3 - With the way the last two have sold, this game is an obvious choice.
Jedi Knight 4 - No.
Star Wars FPS - SW:RC 2, very little chance of this. LucasArts doesn't like new Star Wars IP's, but I think that with the whole FPS craze, they will want to get in on it.
Rogue Squadron 5 - Possibly. 50%/50% chance on this one.

I doubt we will see another unique Star Wars IP on a console. They will be nothing more than se/prequels.

 

ALos, KotOR 3 is also released for PC to, but KotOR 3 with X-Box 360= 1337-ness

Battlefront II? Nope, console too
Battlefront I? Console too
Kotor I and II? X-box got it first.
Commando? Consoles too
Battlegrounds? Well...it's just a Age of Empires mod.

At least EaW is coming out sometime.
