Ice cream! Thanks for reminding me. I'm gonna go grab some.
Alas i know I am mean sorry if it came across to hurtful...
I survive on cereal in the mornings....what would I do with my cow milk
I think Williams should have noncheesy stuff? It has salads and stuff at least. I find the food (other than desserts ) to be pretty healthy.
And it's reasonably close...and parking is usually decent.
McGinnis is faaaaar.
Um...dunno if they do reservations at Williams though...?
I went to William's for lunch today, and there are a few things I can eat... but are we going to be able to sit together as a group?
I'll probably end up walking there, 4 1/2 blocks isn't bad...if you're dressed for the weather that is....Maybe I'll make myself a scarf.
lol, that's cool...not "I'll go buy one" but "I'll go make one".
That's a point...how many of us will be at dinner?
Paul, me, Sylvia and friend, Janet...
I'm not reading back, so I might be missing someone. Matt?
I mean, if it's a small group it'll be ok, but if there's a bunch and we all want to sit together, the only other place I can think of is Casey's.
So, shall we vote?
Casey's or Williams?
Casey's is on the corner of Wellington and Dundas.
Peter's coming with me...
Yes i'll be coming for dinner. I'm impartial but for the sake of voting i'll say Williams.
Are we sure they don't card?
Williams? Card?....its a coffeehouse
oh... i guess we are set then!
So everyone is ok with Williams then?
Someone post up the location of it.
I tried to post a map but...it wouldn't work
So I'll describe it. Or you can look it up on yahoo maps like I did
Ok, it's on the corner of Richmond and Central Ave.
ON RICHMOND matt and deb
6 blocks south of oxford, 6 blocks north of dundas.
Actual addy is: 578 Richmond St.
There's metered parking behind there, and I know some of the side streets have free parking with no time limit after 6, for example Wellington between Central and Pall Mall, Maitland(four blocks away) and I'm sure there are other places around there too.
I'm posting this here (as I've emailed to YJN to put up on the main site) because it details the official plan. Hope this is okay with everyone, let me know about any major issues (Justin's name is down as a contact because I won't be around much the next 2 days).
London Rogues Dinner and Laserquest: January 17.
Our first meeting of 2003 will be held on Friday, January 17. We will be meeting for dinner at Williams Coffee Pub (Richmond and Central Avenue) at 7:00pm. Following this we will move on to Laserquest at 9:15 where we will play a few games and hang out. Hopefully we have better aim than Stormtroopers! PM or email Primrodo (email@example.com) for more information. As always, new members are welcome!
any chance I could get a ride home after Laser Quest? Peter's going home after the supper and he said he would drop me off at Laser Quest, but I don't really want to walk home by myself, and I live too close to pay for parking.
justin, sarah, and matt please pm if you still want a ride, I need your address, Don't worry about a ride home janet I 'll we won't let you walk
Looking foward to it.
I'll have space in the car for ONE more, for a ride home.....as long as they live somewhere near me.....
Also, because of a dinner party before hand, I'll be attending the event looking rather over dressed. (shirt and tie)
NO MAKING FUN!
See you at Lazerquest at 9:30......
I went to the movies with Sylvia in a shirt and tie. It wasn't a big deal.
Well, I don't think I live too far out of the way for anyone, unless they live in White Oaks area.
Matt wants to take the bus, I think. He's here sleeping on my floor, I'm sure he'd be grateful for a ride back though! It's going to be hard to play Laserquest in fancy clothes Jake...hmm...luckily our uniforms for work aren't that fancy, it's just something that looks nice plus the apron.
My friend isn't arriving in London till 7, so we'll be a bit late arriving at Williams.
Looking forward to this, it's going to be fun
You're forcing Matt to sleep on the floor? What, you don't have a chesterfield?
Hey, I hope everyone had fun tonight! I know I did. we'll have get together again soon....
It was a blast guys
That was fun.
My former Commanding Officer will be receiving a letter about the level of training I received, but...
I looked at my score card, and it seemed that my problem was I took a lot of hits on my gun. I'm not used to my gun being a target. Firing around corners and entering unexplored territory with my gun held out in front is part of my combat style, and I suffered for it. Oh well. I'll do better next time.
I knew Debbie was dating a guy named Matt from Toronto, but until tonight, I didn't make the connection. D'oh!
Too bad those guns were made to be right handed. I do much better with my left. That and it wasn't balanced properly the second game, my back still hurts. NOw for sleep, I do have to work in the morning.
