The next meeting will be May 20th at the same location as the last meeting.

In honor of being Star Wars anniversary week, we will be showing all six movies in the Saga.

ALL AT THE SAME TIME.

Argggghhhh, sorry bout that, I would've been there but I'm house sitting as well as I worked till little after 7pm on Saturday. I don't want to help kill SFF We've gotta do something to build a member base. I can't believe only the four of us are big of fans of Star Wars in the Seattle area...

 

Kent is kinda a hard place for me to get to. Is there a more centeralized area we can hold the meetings? I vote maybe the Starbucks at Westlake?

I am recently returned to my homeland of King County from beautiful Oregon and though I am not yet living in Seattle (currently in Issaquah) I will be come July! And if this plan for a meeting stays solid, I would definitely enjoy making it out to meet some folks.

And is this the Westlake Center on Pine? Not sure if there are any other Westlake Centers that happen to be downtown, or if it perhaps continues underground only to spring up in another building, but better safe than sorry I say.

So, yes, its the one on Pine. Starbucks says there is one in the mall. But the one we are going to be at is the kiosk just outside. To clear up any confusion.

I hope you can attend as soon as you can. I hope we can make it interesting enough that we will want to keep it up.

And if everyone brings something they'd like to talk about, Star Warsy or not, it'll probably go ever well enough. With the Oregon group we had a two or three year period of slow moving with basically no activity after a great first year, but once a few meetings got going again with some good agendas and planning, and more people started popping up who were closer to the bulk of the members, it got some good momentum and now it's become quite the enthusiastic and active little group. I don't know if you're in a bit of a lull or what the situation is, but it sounds like the encouraging words won't be unwelcome.
