Well, we either take the bus or walk.
Ugh, let's just take the usual bus.
Great. I am not sure I can make it on the 17th. But I will try.
That is the day George Lucas get inducted into the Sci-Fi Museum's Hall of Fame. Although he is not appearing at the ceremony.
Maybe we can jumpstart something here after all.
I totally didn't know about that. YAY!!!
And I do hope so. I am inviting all my non-JC Star Wars fan friends too, so there should be a decent turn-out. It would be great to bring this baby back from the dead.
I say sometime in the future we go to the science ficiton museum.
...not sure if I'll be able to make it. I gots a hot date.....
Ooooh! Awesome idea! It closes at like 6, so we will have to save that for next time.
Good luck with the date.
i'll be there!!!! sorry i wasn't here for the last one...i'll have pictures of my sith garbs in progress to spark some ideas and i'll have my drawing pad with me, you can see my work...very excited to see ya'll.
Hooray! I am glad you can make it.
Well my work shedule just changed and I work till 730 tues-sat, so I cant come on saturday nights until after 8 or so. I'll keep in touch and see when I can come.
Hi JediYvette! Yup, it looks like I can make this. I'll be there!
Ooooh!! YAY!! I hope this rocks.
I've never been to a meeting! I'm so excited!!
Looking good for me. I'll have to try and fix my bike since the bus that runs from where I'm staying to the P&R only goes until 6 PM, making it so I'll have to bike home on the way back. But otherwise I should be all clear!
Hooray! I am also getting really excited.
I go out tonight and buy prizes and other bribes. It'll be so much fun.
I look forward to meeting everyone! After a week of job-searching and Seattle-stalking, sitting with a group of SW geekles will be an excellent cure for cold feet.
Ew. Job Hunting.
I hope this meeting will sufficiently distract you from your other responsibilites. Nothing else, you can get some free biscotti.
Job hunting eigh? I guess were in the same boat. I'm doing the same!
BTW, SW is a great distraction.
And good luck in your job searching ventures, Ammers! If I happen to find a place that is looking for a few folks, I'll let you know.
Ew, job hunting in Seattle sucks. Can't wait to meet everyone!
Thanks Vengeance I'd appreciate that!
So is there going to be a sign for this, or will everyone be required to try to recognise the geek factor? I could probably pick Yvette and Mariah out of a crowd, but that's about it, and I dunno if that's the case for everyone. Or maybe we should have everyone raise their left hand high in the air and then bring it down and touch their nose when they walk in the door, then those already at the shop can wave them over to the table.
Better suggestions are more than welcome, and probably quite plentiful.
You will reconize me? Should I be creeped out since I never met you before or flattered?
Ummm... I can do a sign if you like. Or look for the geeks playing Star Wars trvia games?
Perhaps a little of both.
And whatever works, I was just wondering if there was a plan for that, since I've sat outside a Pietro's waiting for an hour or so before some folks who I had seen walk in way earlier came out and said "Venge?" Ever since then I have always asked for the recognition plan.
Hmm... I see you point and a sign will work then.
I prefer tables in corners, so if I can, I'll be grabbing one of those, so look there first.
Ah, the unobtrusive corner tables. Sounds like a plan.
