One more thing and then I'm off to bed. I'll check the message board after I get home from the doctor's and before I leave for the theater, just in case.

Sorry I can't make it, but my new job has me working then. I'll be taking time off for next Sunday's meeting though. Sorry I can't see Brian off.

It'll be interesting to see what you all think of Signs though. (I'm not gonna comment right now)

I have not seen Signs yet. . .depressing. . .maybe I will go sometime this week. . .for everyone that has seen it says exactly this:
" Oh! Its sooooo good!"

My doctor's office screwed up and gave me the wrong appt. time. It's at 2:30 instead, so I'll just head on over there after the show.

It's quite possible that my days off will be changed, but I'mnot sure yet as I'm still in training and the final schedule hasn't been set yet. Although if I get the split that I want to work, I'll have a period of 4 hours off every day I work from 1pm-5pm, so I'll be pretty available for most things.

Padawan_Ken0bi I shall go with you to see Signs. I just watched this think on Discovery channel about crop circles and I am going crazy not being able to see Sign's...my parents dont like that stuff but I do darnit! So sad...I shall go pout in my room and watch LotR DVD again... I must go now all, wish I could be there with you all today but 'There is a foul voice on the air' that has told me no...

 

the movie was good, right up until the end. where were you two girls? we were there but you were not ?

 

I am back people! Just in time for the next meeting too! Bored as heck in San Antonio! But I am pleased to say I picked up my very own copy of rebel stand and finished The Hutt Gambit! Whooo!

 

Lancelot? Good right up until the end? Come on, I didn't like the whole movie.

Too many questions left unanswered.

 

i just hated that crappy ending. the movie is not reeally about the aliens at all.plus if it wasent for the music wouldent have been near as starteling

I thought "Signs" was good until the ending.
I also agree with Sir Lancelot that it wasn't so much about aliens, but the demons the main character was dealing with.
It had some great funny moments and I enjoyed it for the most part.

I just had too many questions. Example: If I was an alien that melted with exposure to water, why would I invade a planet covered nearly 80% in it, with humans also composed of 90% water inhabiting it?

And then, why do they just leave after 1 day? I mean that just made no sense at all.

thats what i mean, it was a big buildup right until the end, and then nothing. it just fell flat on it's face right at the end. it was like all anticipataion on no climax.

 

LOL! I didn't see signs but my sister did and she said "Alf is scarier than the Alien in Signs"

edit: as for me....be prepared to see a difference...I'm not gonna tell you because I want it to be a surprise!

 

/I/ was not at the meeting because once my stupid computer started working it was to late and I could not find a ride to the movie theather place thing. . . Sad. Wish I could have been there, but life sucks. . .and so do parents who dont feel like driving. . .
