next two 72 hour fanfilms

cool my movie is finished but i have 56K and it is acting like 10K so it is taking forever to upload. i will post a link in this thread when i am done. my movie is 2 minutes and 37 seconds long and it is 8.24 MB. well the version that i am uploading to the web is. i have a high quality version on my comp that is 426 MB. like anybody cares. well it does take forever to upload on a 56k. i don't think angelfire can take that size of a file, is there anyone who can host it themself?

yep. however, the movies may not be online today. It just depends on how many of them i get to download today.

 

well, mine's only 1.5MB, shouldn't take long to download

 

and mine is 8.24 MB

 

I've gotten four movies in so far, one of witch is mine. This is already bigger than the last one. Good luck everyone, I'm going to try to upload these tonight. Also, please list the codecs and formats of your movies so that I know what codecs to download. (homer, i still cant play your movie....?)

 

I am not sure what it is, but in premiere i used cleaner ez and did quicktime progressive download and the highest quality there because if i just saved it as a movie with compression it was at least 30 MB and i'd rather have a 8.24 MB file. But it is quicktime.

Well do you know where I can download that codec?

Well that's strange. I have the codec, but it won't let me play the file. Is it qt 5 or 6?

 

shouldn't matter, I've played it on qt 6 and 5

 

well i hope other people can play it back better thanoh i can.

 

well, I think there's a thread around here somewhere that deals with how to get on2 to work. I'll go look for it and post it here.
