Funny how my brain keeps flashing back to the 80s.
Freeman McNeil which I'm guessing some of you youngsters won't remember. He was a running back for the Jets.

I said my brain reversed the numbers! I couldn't control that!

For #24, I think of Jeff Gordon.

    He doesn't play football :p

I don't want enough NFL to really have someone associated with 24. I could rattle off some Gamecocks with that number, but not NFL players :p

no one really springs to mind when i think of 24. lol, now that i think about it i think shawn springs wore that number, could have been making a bad pun there.

81 definitely makes me think of t.o. first.

Shawn Springs did wear that number actually.

and I goofed up, as I was thinking of a slightly different number and a whole 'nother player when I was thinking of that number.

    So........ #23 anyone?

Tyrone Carter is the first person who comes to mind. There's gotta be a better 23 out there, though.

I meant Ty Law is the first player I think of with #24, since I've seen so many videos of his INTs in that playoff series.

For the life of me there isn't a 23 popping into my brain except Michael Jordan. :p

    Not a good football number.

LeBron ... but I don't think he counts.

Ronnie Brown comes to mind, but not immediately. Only after thinking about it for a bit.

Hester's probably a better choice than Carter.

Yeah, Hester's a good choice there.
