I did some card playing last week to try and get back on top, but it turned out I wasn't the only one who picked the G-Men, I'm just gonna go for second place now, because I don't think the Giants have any chance of winning this game.

It seems like the politically correct thing every year for the experts to predict "a close game, but Team X pulls away at the end". That's not usually how these things go. Let's go back to the much-vaunted Giants "near-victory" in Week 17. First of all, the Giants got seven points off of a kickoff return after a lame group celebration penalty forced a short kickoff. Second, seemingly lost in the fact that the Giants were twelve points ahead at one point, is that when the chips were down, the Patriots did score 22 unanswered points in about 10 minutes' time.

I don't necessarily want the giants to win, but i hate the Patriots more, courtesy of the media. Sometimes i get the feeling that all sports are rigged...

 

The Sports Gal is picking the Giants, which makes me nervous (and should make everyone picking the Giants feel a little better).

In reality, I think NE is going to win, and it won't be close. Like 55-20 or thereabouts. But, I submitted NYG as my pick for the game here with a final total of 72 points, because its the only chance I have to win.

 

Did I win the tiebreaker?

 

Well the bottom half of the score was right. The Giants did get 17 points.

Not that I mind losing at all, but how could anyone win with just six games picked total, and a .500 record overall? Am I missing something?
