I can't wait for this movie. I read like the first five books, because my mother was buying them and I was vaguely curious. Of course, the series was originally supposed to be seven books. Once they started raking in the cash, they just kept coming. After the sixth book, even my devoutly Christian mother stopped buying them. Parts of them were interesting. But on the whole, not so good. I saw the first two Kirk Cameron movies. Cameron was not very good in them. And then I think Mr. T was in the third one and I somehow never got around to it.

 

I'd like a rapture movie done on the lines of Orson Wells' War of the Worlds broadcast. It would air on tv and be made to look exactly like extended CNN breaking news coverage.
