Nickel City Con - 8/13 & 8/14/16

Mark your calendars! We've been invited to the inaugural Nickel City Con to be held on both floors of the Buffalo Convention Center in August. We were approached before the event was made public due to our experience with SWN and our awesome reputation in WNY!

The promoters are planning to use space on both floors of the convention center and have already announced some guests:

Rick Flair
Cast of Comic Book Men (minus Kevin Smith)
Ray Park


More details to follow! We have potential to host a panel or two, and/or recreate some of our performances from past SWN battles.

Updates 8/8/16

We will be set up in Booth 107.

Load in/Set up is Friday from 8-4. We can arrive as early as 7am on Saturday and Sunday.

Members appearing to volunteer at the event will receive a wrist band to show you are a vendor as well as be able to enjoy the con.

Just curious, who is organizing this con?

 

the proverbial penciling has been executed! looking forward to more local cons that are not crammed inside of one small hotel hall/ hallway

 

I would like to be able to help, but I can only pencil it in at this point.
