    As someone who's enjoyed all of Winding Refn's movies that I've seen in one way or the other I'm very much looking forward to this

    i like how he actually has an "NWR" monogram at the end of the trailer, under the movie title. has he been doing that for a while or did he just recently decide he'd earned it?

    the first half of the trailer I was thinking, wait, where's the blood and hyperviolence? This doesn't look like NWR. but it all worked out in the end.

    speaking of Elle Fanning. I'd forgotten who she was, but when I clicked her on IMDB I found Sophia Coppola's remake of Clint Eastwood's "The Beguiled." Didn't see that one coming.

    So I saw this on Sunday. The cinematography was amazing as one could expect and Cliff Martinez knocked it out of the park once again with the score. The story is intriguing throughout though it drags a bit until the last 30 minutes when it becomes insane. Still processing it but Ithinked I liked it overall. I also appreciated the sense of alienation that permeated the film.

    I was on the fence on this film, but then I watched one of my favorite film reviewers, Chris Stuckmann, comments on the film and now I can't wait to watch the film. I'll probably wait for home video though.
