    FALCON FAN!!!! [:D]
Thank you soooo much!! Yes I made the chair, too :) I thought it looked kind of like something that should belong in a cabin, so I actually made it to go with the turtleneck/jeans outfit, but it worked better with the queen there :)

Thanks so much FF, I so love it when you drop in here :)

Those are real nice and I see you are a lover of horses too. My first paintings were of horses and when I saw the prequels of Star Wars that became my well of imagination.

Thank you earlybird-obi-wan! Yes I love horses. I've never had any, so my sister and I joke that we make up for it with art :D
She's the more horse artist though, I do more people. Her artwork is here:
    http://talesofmiddleearth.com/art.html
at the near bottom of the page on the left there is a link to more of her horse artwork. I keep one of hers on my desk, I love the style so much! She's got over a hundred pictures but we haven't gotten them all on the website yet.

I think I saw at least one of your paintings--I think? It was really beautiful. Star Wars is the reason I'm sewing now :D

That is a boatload of stuff you've gotten done there! I still really love the heart dress. That green dress is cool too but the flower pot for a hat makes me laugh, he he.

    APRIL FOOLS!

    I've got you, haven't I!
ok, so that was rather mean of me.
So here in fact IS a drawing I did for April 1st.

    http://padawansguide.com/index_af2007.shtml
I did it in a very stick-figureish way on purpose. Scroll down to see the rest of the stuff I drew.

well I hope you all had a absolutely marvelous march, and a fantastic first! :) I will have more doll dresses soon, but sadly I still haven't gotten really inspired to draw much of anything. I just haven't seen a picture yet that just begged to be drawn.... hmm. Maybe I'll sift through my favorite archives in the next month and see if I can't come up with something. this dry spell is driving me nuts!!!!!

Anyway God bless you all and ttys!!!!!

LOL! Nasty! ;) :D But I liked the costume studies you've done--all of them look really good! Are they for your sewing work, or just for sketching practice? Nice colors, and I especially liked the blue "pregnant Padme" gown--lovely work on that one! We'll be looking forward to more dresses--they're soooo pretty! :D

FalconFan!!! thanks dear!!!! actually I sketched them just for thepadawansguide.com's april fools joke :) It was rather fun to just scribble for once and not worry about getting them 'exact' :)

Thanks again dear for stopping by!!!! I've got more dresses coming soon. Padme's black beaded will be my next SW gown, but I've got at least 3 if not more like 12-13 other gowns that'll show up before then, as I've got some commissioned work in :)

    GB and ttys!!!

I finally did it!!! I'm doing an SW drawing!!!
Well here it is, the incredibly ugly Ponda Baba! This is of course a WIP, but I wanted to see what you all thought of it, the stance etc.
    [image=http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a82/Nidrail_335/PB.jpg]

This is just a camera photo, NOT a scan, so please excuse the odd lighting/colors.
    Reviews and Critique Eagerly awaited!!

    God bless!

I think that's looking really good. I like how you've done his eyes, they look very cool.

As far as criticism goes, I think his arm needs to be a little bit longer, and his right foot could do with being slightly bigger. That's about it.

    I hope that's helpful.

I never would have noticed the arm till after I'd finished it [face_worried] That would have been miserable!!

Thanks so much for stopping in!

I already told you in the PM how gorgeous I think she is...but I'll put a comment here, too! ;) The likeness to Natalie is uncanny (I'm sure it would weird her out a little, it's so good!)--gorgeous skintones and "make-up;" just lovely blending, too. A very professional job, no doubt about it! Congratulations on a fantastic job! =D=

Very cool Aqualish, and I still love that doll's dress. :) It's eerie how much your repaint job makes her look like Natalie Portman!
