After seeing these scene's again I find it amazing that his head was a handpuppet, excellent job.

 

I used to think his bottom lip was real.

 

That would have been a very big lip.

 

So excited for the return of Nien Nunb.

 

Looks more like Ten Numb to me... what with the flight gear.

I wonder if he'll serve an important role in the action, or just be relegated to a background cameo. And will we hear him speak?

Him in that Battlefront trailer was pure awesomeness.

 

That wasn't him in Battlefront, it was just another Sullustan. There was also an Ishi Tib soldier there, and in the Hoth video there was a Rodian Rebel.

I want a slowmo battle moment with his cheek flaps flopping about, saliva spraying in the face of his enemies.

 

Positive. Different outfit, he's on the forest moon instead of in the Falcon, and pretty much every Sullustan wears that same hat in ROTJ (from Ten Numb to the Sullustans crewing the Falcon outside of the cockpit in the deleted scenes). If Nien were gonna be playable as a soldier in Battlefront, he'd be a Hero character like Vader or Luke...and there's really no reason for him to be over any other blaster-wielding character.

There's no chance that was Nien Nunb in the Battlefront trailer.

What was shown was a Battle of Endor scenario, we all know what Nien Nunb was doing during the Battle of Endor.
