Nothing major, but I've got a knot in the muscle of my right forearm. It's too minor to complain about, as I don't want to look like a wuss, but it's been this way for two months now. Whenever it seems to get better, I pick something up, and the muscle tears again. I treat it with a heat pack, and try to massage it out with a tennis ball, but it's always suffering setbacks.
Three weeks ago, I took a pretty bad fall at home: I was using the laptop on my couch when someone came to the door. In my haste, I got up too quickly and tripped over my laptop's power cord, and I fell directly onto my left kneecap. For the next week or so, my knee was swollen up, and it was painful to do any sort of quick motions with my legs. Getting in and out of the car was especially painful. I'm mostly healed by now, but every now and then I feel severe discomfort when walking down a flight of stairs, or standing up after being stationary for more than 10 minutes.
I've had this weird blister on my hand (luckily small and skin colored) for around 3 years now. It won't go away...
I still have a lingering stress fracture in my right foot. Nearly a year now, and it's just become annoying.
so the quack reckons i have tennis elbow. wants to give me steroid injections to reduce inflammation of the tendons and muscles in the area. has anyone had tennis elbow, and made a full recovery with this course of treatment? are there alternate treatments that are effective?
I had a similar problem with my right arm when I was fencing three times a week. I used elbow braces and Ace bandages on the elbow and fenced left handed for a couple of months, then I was fine. And I got a lot better at left-handed fencing.
I've had shoulder pain for at least ten years. I finally have an appointment with an orthopedist today to get it checked out. My GP predicts a rotator cuff injury
My right foot acts up so often it’s hard to notice when it’s not slightly hurting although hurting doesn’t seem like the right word. Whatever, it’ll probably be a royal pain when I’m old.
sometimes I have to crack my right knee if it has been bent for too long. it can take a few swings to get it, and until then there's a weird cold/uncomfortable sensation that is truly unpleasant.
