I have been pushing for Mexican for awhile now...

Plus, considering it's about two blocks from Matt's house, I figure he can just walk there or something. :p

Yeah, he wouldn't have to wake up until like five minutes before the meeting.

...even though it's a night meeting.

I actually had a request for a Thai place too, and I kinda forgot it. So post if you'd like Thai.

I pushing for El Tecolote because it has that kickin' water fountain.

And what would our lunch be like without a water fountain?

    Nothing.

If the Thai place you're talking about was the one Kelsey suggested it's in Oxnard so it wouldn't work for this meeting. It rules though, unlike El Tecolote which sucks. Granted I don't really like Mexican but that place always seems so... dirty.

Just FYI, I don't have a very strong preference, but my few experiences at El Tecolote have been... well, less than ideal. IHoP, on the other hand, means I can have breakfast for dinner. :)

I hope no one goes to IHOP for their actual *dinners*

    :~D

Now, breakfast for dinner I understand...mmmmm....french toast.....

On the contrary, IHOP has a REALLY good chicken sandwich. :)

I got breakfast for dinner at IHOP a while back, and it was relatively unsatisfying for some reason. It LOOKS a lot better than it tastes.

If we go there, I'll be doing normal food. :)

    Chicken strips!

OK, I'm willing to reconsider on the sandwich idea, only because I've never tried one. However, their "regular" dinner stuff and burgers have never come remotely close to impressing me. :~)

'course, I probably won't be at this meeting, either. :~( Unless I can get Paul to drive me down, but I don't think he wants to sit in the meeting, and I don't want him to have to just sit around....we'll see.

Aw, he doesn't like us? :(

(Option to consider: he brings you, I take you home. Assuming that you're ok with sitting in a restaurant for our usual couple of hours.)

Another option, I can take you home so he doesn't have to drive all the way out here.

Of course, this is me we're talking about. :)

    Oh, he likes everyone. :~)

He just likes both of us to have our "own" things, so that we have outings that we can kinda call just each of our's individually.

That, and I think he gets lost when we get on a roll about something or other. :~)

    I'll ask, but we'll see.

Partially will depend on how the doc visit goes that week, too...if my blood pressure is OK, I might be good to go. If there's anything amiss, I'm sure Mr. GB would like me to stay within eyesight of the hospital.

So are we changing our votes to IHOP then?
