I will be getting ready for a wedding. My daughter is getting married Saturday in Gatlinburg, Tn. May the Force be with me!
Operation wedding was a success. I am now an official father-in-law. Drive up to Gatlinburg and then back all in one day is rough on anyone. Had the wedding been here, it was fixing to get interesting. Here's why. I told my daughter that I was going to wear my formal kilt attire to the wedding, but she axed that idea and wanted me in "just" a suit. Well, the formal kilt was much much nicer, I told her that I wanted to wear that. Again, no. Me, in a suit. I told her she had a choice, either I show up in my kilt or I show up as Darth Vader! Maybe that's why she wanted to get married in Tennessee.
