San Joaquin, CA Night Out This Week??

Fellow People of the group:

Fantastic Four, and Sharkboy and Lavagirl(i know, kiddie movie, but robert rodriguez hasn't let me down yet, and I haven't seen a 3-D movie in the theater since either Freddy's Dead or Captain EO) are both playing at the $1.00 theater in hanford this week, anyone interested?? Monday and Wednesdays are only 50 cents. word.

 

would be interested, preferably wednesday of the 2 options offered.

don't get off work til 7, tho, and wouldn't want to hold everybody else up.

 

Wednesday sounds good. I get home at 6.

 

what time are the showings?

 

sharkboy & lavagirl is at 430 & 650

fantastic 4 at 400 & 710

no movie for me, i guess.

 

It wouldn't be the same without your sarcasm, so how about monday, tuesday, wednesday, or thursday. Every other night beside mon/wed is only $1.00 anyway. Let's round up the group and decide on something. I'm off monday and tuesday, and the rest of the week I get off no later than 5. I'll check with Liz and we'll all wear dorky 3-D glasses.?!?

 

do they issue those??? i have a pair somewhere, but i can't remember where for the life of me. buried in a box of stuff, no doubt. next time i find them, well, i'll probably lose them again.

well, i have abruptly found myself with an extra day off tomorrow, a sudden gaping hole in my schedule that was immediately filled by... The Dave's 33rd birthday.

instead of having a blissful day with nothing to do but hang out with my husband, he has informed me that he "just wants to relax," so it looks like i'm going to fresno to shop for his birthday presents. then, at some point tomorrow evening, a cake will occur.

if anyone happens to find themselves in my neighborhood tomorrow evening, feel free to come over and partake. the more the merrier, right?

The Dave was very pleased you came, as was i.

and thanks once again, greg, for your invaluable artistic skills.

 

better late than never..............Happy Birthday to...The Dave....would have liked to be there...but had to work...hope there was much rejoicing.....and wickedness...although...the wickedness should've probably occurred...After...other peoples left....or....not....uhmm...well....yeah...hope it was fun....

I'm gonna have to second that "Wickedness After" bit! Although the only wickedness I saw personally was Piewhacket... Wickedness Personified, well maybe Felinified!

Good cake, LOTS of frosting.

 

Not sure which was most entertaining... feline or strange video clip? Still debating.
