    http://www.hauntedweb.com/

    Still located in the same place as last year- just a new name and new scares! The Asylum is back, and the 3-D section just got a dark maze added to it!

    [image=http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w293/bu****ales/3dskullsm.jpg]

    We are in the very back corner Trinity Commons Shopping Center at he intersection of N. Germantown Parkway and Trinity, just down from Kroger grocery. We are down from Kroger and behind Double Eagle Golf shop. You will walk through a "breeze-way" to the back of the building. Entrances to the haunts face Timber Creek Dr.

    [image=http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w293/bu****ales/map1-2007.jpg]

    From I-40 at Germantown Parkway (Wolfchase Mall area), head south on Germantown Parkway. You will cross Dexter Road, then Macon Road. Trinity is the next road and the shopping center is on the left. We are down from Kroger and behind Double Eagle Golf shop. You will walk through a "breeze-way" to the back of the building. Entrances to the haunts face Timber Creek Dr.

    From I-240 at Walnut Grove Road (East Memphis area), head east on Walnut Grove toward Shelby Farms. Continue on Walnut Grove until you meet Germantown Parkway. Turn left on N. Germantown Parkway. Trinity is the second light and the shopping center is on the right and you cross over Trinity. We are down from Kroger and behind Double Eagle Golf shop. You will walk through a "breeze-way" to the back of the building. Entrances to the haunts face Timber Creek Dr.

    We are across the street from TJ Mulligan's Cordova. We are in the same shopping center as Kroger, McDonalds, El Mezcal, Bank of Bartlett, Kang-Rhee, and Blockbuster Video.

    Dates: October 16th, 17th, 18th then again October 23rd - Nov 1st

    Times: 7:30pm to Midnight

    Prices: $10 bucks for The Darkness and $10 bucks for The Asylum. A combo ticket can be purchased for both haunts for $18.

    It's going to be better than it ever has from what I've seen so far. And don't forget that they need volunteers.

    Can't wait to scare folks again this year. My boss already knows about it and has made plans to let me go during those times.

    I'll be sure to stop by! I'll be the one screaming "TOUCH ME AND DIE!!!" while hiding behind a dude in a leather jacket. [face_laugh]

    Oh, and if you want a real laugh (and should I still be living in Memphis...I'm SO close to getting out of here), stop by Collierville Wal-Mart's automotive department on Halloween. I'll be the one behind the counter dressed as Freddy Krueger. :p I'm thinking of taping a sign that says "Complaint Dept" onto my glove.

    What's funny is it's usually a guy hiding behind a girl in a leather jacket screaming, "TOUCH ME AND DIE!!!"

    I'm mostly going to be finishing up the 3-D stuff this weekend. Pat's supposed to have some friends come in to help with faux finishing.

    Well, I just got back from the haunt and I must say it was really great. You guys did an absolutely amazing job, and I really enjoyed it. Only part I didn't like too much was at the end of the Asylum when all the hillbillies and Leatherface were screaming all at once. It reminded me none so pleasantly of my damaged right ear. I ended up with my head tucked under my arm in an attempt to drown out the noise (while holding on to Tom. [face_laugh]). Other than that, it was awesome. And it was great to see you guys there too, Lin and Tim. We're actually thinking of volunteering during the final stretch.

    Unbelievable crowds for opening weekend! I don't think we closed until after 1am last night. I think I finally got home and to bed around 2:30am.

    Here are a few shots from opening night-

    [image=http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w293/bu****ales/IMG_1857.jpg]

    Nicki and I went thru the haunt, and I got to show her some of my 3-D work.

    Okay, so everybody had fun without me last week. Hmph. [face_not_talking]

    I see how it is. [face_talk_hand]

    For the record, my kids and I had a BLAST doing homework. :-B And you ALL missed going to the movies with with us. I may have slept through the first 30 minutes of the movie, but Emma said it was great! :p

    Seriously, though, those are some fun pics. Glad you guys had a good turnout. [face_devil]

    The dude dressed as the nurse made me stop for a whole five seconds and stare. He was very convincing. [face_hypnotized]

    And yes, I must keep all comments to myself as well, except for that it was awesome and very...erm...interesting at times. [face_laugh]

    City of Ember. It's Emma's favorite book and she geeked out all the way to the theater, LOL. Kiddo doesn't understand the concept of spoilers, though, because she kept trying tell me the ending all the way there. And then the ride home was all about what the movie had left out and things they had changed. Such a fangirl. I don't know where she gets it... ;)

    I don't think Rachel liked it. [face_worried] But, like a good fangirl, she has her little pink lightsaber to defend herself. ;) Emma, on the other hand, appears to be highly amused at other people's terror. :p

    I was in the Commercial Appeal newspaper here last Friday, but looks like it was only in the Germantown Appeal edition (I didn't see it in the Midtown or Cordova editions). The photo they ran is now on-line.
