Stealing a movie is a little different from public domain pictures. You ask LFL whether they care about pictures, now ask them whether they care about people stealing their movie.

Bootlegging is thievery, period. A trailer is one thing, that's advertising anyway (and free), the movie is something different.

Youe attempt at reversing morality is fairly weak, sorry. You could probably have done better.

 

We're the last in all the time zones for AOTC tonight, and it's sold out. My tickets are for Thursday, 7 PM, after work.

Im pritty tired of bootlegs...and being spoiled...

I swear on the original ANH video cassette that if one person brags to me about an epIII bootleg anytime from now (I know a bit crazy) to the day before its release, I WILL destroy that being!

(Scary to think I'll be in University, I hope, by the time Ep.III is out)

 

I am not asking for bootleg copies of AOTC, but is there bootleg copies of AOTC on the net already??? Im not asking for links im just curious and would like to know if anyone has seen a bootleg copy of AOTC on the net????

 

JediMaster21, if there weren't any bootlegs, would there be a reason for this thread? Basically, this thread says anyone who links to a bootleg or says where one can be found will be banned.

Seriously, I can't believe that of all the trails Lucas has worked so hard to blaze, he hasn't blazed the internet trail.

This is only going to get worse, unless some brilliant minds get together and think of a solid plan...

 

TFN has posted things in the past, but when they were e-mailed from LucasFilm, they were quick to remove it. They know that LucasFilm doesn't approve of the bootlegs.

It would be hard to find a way to get people to pay to watch a movie online without having them save the movie. Virtually all streaming media CAN be saved in one way or another. Also, it would take a TON of bandwidth to host a full-sized movie, especially if it had decent resolution.

 

If you wish to get bootlegs of this film off the internet, there is no stopping you.

But if you ask users where and how to find bootlegs, you put this site at great risk of being shut down! Don't be selfish idiots!

Go to the theater, and see the movie the way it was meant to be seen.

 

Ok here's a question. I don't want a bootleg. But if I've already paid my $10 and watched the movie, can I not have a backup copy for safe keeping. I am entitled to one with every other form of media I can enjoy. I'm not interested in making money from it, but solely for my own reference and enjoyment. I know NO BOOTLEGS. I want a backup.
