Director Zack Snyder has said he does NOT want to direct the new Star Wars movies. He wasn't even asked. How is someone saying they do not want to do it, news lol But I saw it on google today. Was he even a name being talked about?
I never considered Zack Snyder at all...he is highly over rated. Sounds like sour grapes to me for not being approached by LFL/Disney. Total non news item, I wasn't approached to direct either LOL
It's funny though....look at how the world is talking Star Wars again! Any little scrap of info or non info is now a news item.
I will give you that, but now we will get the "its a misinformation by him" rumors lol I think I will call the media and release a statement that at this time I do not not want to do the star wars movies either.

Hmm... he just said he's not interested. I don't see why this implies he sided with the fans. I don't even know if he likes any of SW movies.
I'm just disappointed not even Tarantino knows that it should be "couldn't care less". If you can care less, you do actually care. as for Snyder, I didn't even consider him for a second, so that's fine by me.

It's probably because so many people were hounding him about it that he just wanted to set the record straight and get everyone off his back.
It was by me. I think he'd be a good choice although not many here agree with me. I felt 300 was awesome! He was able to take alot of no-names and create an exciting story. Anyway, by process of elimination we know who's still in the running: OUT (so they say): George Lucas Stephen Spielberg JJ Abrams Quenton Terrintino (like who cares cause he's definitely not right) Zack Snyder David Fincher (would have been a good fit I thought) Possible: Matt Vaughn Brad Bird John Favreau (hasn't been ruled out) Colin Tevarrow
