"Nobody listens to techno" -- How true?

...speaking of remixes, I absolutely adore Kruder & Dorfmeister's the K&D Sessions. They remixed tracks of their own, in addition to stuff by artists like Depeche Mode. What they did when they got their hands on a song by Bone Thugs n' Harmony is truly sublime.

I'm personally a fan of more downtempo electronica. I'd say my favorite subgenre of techno is trip-hop, or better yet, trip-hop/jazz fusions. There's a series of compilations from Instinct Records called After Hours that'll make you melt.
