Nom Anor's Future

Did anyone notice this in Nom Anor's bio at TOS?

Still, Anor is shrewd and crafty. His knowledge of the infidels will continue to prove valuable to the Yuuzhan Vong effort, as it eclipses even the Republic's Core Worlds. Anor no doubt is saving a vital piece of information that will win him a valued position beside Tsavong Lah, and spell even more suffering to the heroes of the New Republic.

A little forshadowing maybe? What is the little trickster up to now?

and i think Nom Anor's future doesn't look good. He'll either find himself at the recieving end of a amphistaff or a lightsaber.

I'm sure he'll play a part still in up coming books cause he's too good a character to lose. I just don't want o see him escaping when (and if) the VOng are defeated. He really needs to die and stay that way.

Any speculation on what his vital piece of information is?

 

it could possibly be about midichloreans(sp?). then it could be a big thing with the jedi. It could happen

 

the TOS doesn;t specifically say he has some vial piece of info, just that he may have one that will put him on Lah's good side

but...

1. he could know about Vergere, though this is unplausable
2. he could reveal the power of the ysalimiri on the jedi. so far i think the vong have no idea of the force properties of the ysalimiri.
3. Since he is such a good shaper as the TOS said, maybe he's behind the thing on Lah's arm, then he all of a sudden cures him and it goes from there.
4. Any info on any huge plans the NR has could be especially beneficial

 

There's no doubt he's going to die, and if I have anything to say about it, he'll be receiving the business end of Mara's lightsaber.

 

He's always failing. Sooner or later, his luck will run out, IMO.

You are all wrong... Nom Anor will single handedly crush the infidel scum and become ruler of the galaxy... and even the mighty Yun-Yuuhzahn will have no choice but to bow before him.

 

He is soooo dead. When Jacen and Jaina are forced to fight. They will escape and end Nom Anor.

He's a rather silly man for a Vong, in Darth Vader drag. I wouldn't expect too much from him. He's going to be busy in his rivalry with Jedi Big Bird for Tsavong Lah's attention until he meets an untimely end, probably beaten to death with the rotten, putrified, fallen-off stump of Lah's leg graft just before the Vong go down crying like little girls.

Or something like that. He's not at all what they tried to bill him as, though. He's no replacement for Vader.

 

Come to think of it, depending on what all this summary is supposed to cover (i.e.:before Star By Star or including it) the vital piece of information could be that Jaina and Jacen are twins. To me though it sounds like te summary covers Star By Star since it mentions Vergere and Nom Anor competing for Tsavong Lah's fancy and then working together. So, judging by this summary, Nom Anor still has vital information to deliver to the Vong.

I assume you've read EoV and SbS, so I'm really confused on why you say that.

I think it is about the NR's Rebellion days. That they are at their best when thery're on their toes.
