Non-SW but ideas of Orko costume

    DragonCon is coming up in 2 weeks and my son is a huge MoTU fan. I thought about trying to do a Orko costume. It sounds easy, A long Red Tshirt with a 0 on it. However the only hat's I can find is a Harry Potter Wizard hat that is brown. Can they be painted or would that look bad? Also any good idea to add ear's to the hat?

    By a set of vulcan/elf ears, paint them blue, an cut 2 holes in the hat? You should be able to get witch hats at Halloween stores about now... Maybe add a little extra material for the drooping cone?
