Exactly what I was thinking when I saw that scene..it's more pain and anguish than being p***** off. Screaming in rage or whatever would have been taken the same way by some people I think, because it is Vader. They still would have thought it was comical..JMO

The AOTC NOOOOOOOOO might have been when Anakin charged Dooku in that hanger and Obi-Wan yelled "No, Anakin No!" Or something like that.

 

Yeah that one in AOTC when Anakin is being all hot headed and goes after Count Dooku during the duel.

Also, iirc in AOTC book, after Dooku sliced Anakin's hand off, Obi-Wan yelled "Noooooo"

Doubtful. I don't even think Jar Jar would show up in the ST. He served as an excellent symbol in TPM and plot device in AOTC, other than his continuity appearance in ROTS, his story was done by then. He's served his purpose in the saga.

 

Luke has Tourette's in his old age causing him to yell NOOOOOO at random times.

 

I agree in AOTC, the scream doesn't sound like Qui-Gon. However, it does sound like Anakin/James Earl Jones....

 

Whoever says it has to be a Skywalker- it's a family tradition.

 

I just hope it ain't me after seeing it and finding out the movie sucked.

 

Even though I never minded Vader's "NOOOOOOOO!" at the end of ROTS, I knew this one bothered me, but I was wrong. And I know I'm going to get hit on the head with a toy lightsaber for saying this, but, I actually don't mind that change anymore, I think it works!

 

Yeah i was having a hard time accepting the added Nooooo in ROTJ at first too. Once i got used to hearing it honestly it's how i imagine any father would react to seeing his own son tortured in front of him. Adding the Nooooo made it more intense. It showed the despair he was truly feeling alot more than him just looking back and forth at Luke and the Emperor then suddenly grabbing and tossing him into the reactor shaft.

 

I think I know why GL did that, too. There's now a long "noooooooo!" in all six films.

I think the added NO in ROTJ is spot on!

Sixty-five-year old Leia Organa Solo comes out of the bedroom holding up her metal Bikini. "Look what I found in the back of the closet," she says to Han then gives him a wink, "Would you like to see me in it again?"

Han cringes, "NOOOOOOO!!"

[Followed by the audience: "Noooooooooooo!]
