Saw this posted on FB and thought it looked like something that could be replicated, perhaps with a less complicated base to be sturdier for photo ops.

 

I'm ready to get back to building!! Could we try to arrange costume building. Workshops again?? I loved those!

 

That's what we were also talking about. I think at the Dunkirk camp we will have enough of the builders perhaps to settle on our workshop use for 2015-16?

 

As someone who did not participate in the building of the cockpit, I just want to say how awesome it was, and how much I appreciate all the work and time that went into building it. The kids really loved it, and I think we certainly took our photo area to the next level of terrific!

We never had that workshop discussion at camp. So maybe over a few drinks.. or just pick a date when things calm down

Perhaps at the end of the SWN planning meeting, interested builders who are present could discuss a project possibly closely if not entirely related to the discussion that day

It is decided, we will build the Emperor's Throne.

 

Emperor's Throne, eh? Will I have to muster the Endor Troopers to throw Vader off of it like this group did?

Is there a schedule or plan in place?

 

While I'm currently removed from authority on this matter, I would opine that the throne would be needed for filming by April.

 

Chiming in here: is there a design plan? A budget? Schedule? A build team?

I would imagine any expenses incurred by the build would have to be pre-approved to avoid miscommunication/conflict.

If the build is required to be completed by April, I would suggest moving quickly.

 

We built the cockpit with no funds just found materials. The build crew is the same and we have found some plans for the build. The schedule is as said.
