Great to see a North board. Sorry not attended any meets but been megabusy with work and not been online much.

Well, i can get to manchester airport relativley quick...So i MIGHT be in for Manchester meets...

 

If I'm at home (i.e. not at uni) I'm up for a meet. There's Collectormania in Feb at GMEX, it's by the same people who did the Milton Keynes thing so should be good

Gold ticket = INSANE COST. £175. Loads of goodies with it though.

Early bird = £10 Saturday only

Standard = £5 Saturday and Sunday.

I know there at least 6-8 people in the NW - Terry (Fatburt), Orn, Glass-Onion, myself, one Southerner hiding up North ( ) aka mvwg3003, Dickie, and probs a few others. I am up for meeting in either - Manchester, Liverpool, Preston, etc or just about anywhere if need be.

Heh Terry, read again. It wasn't a list for Collectormania, just a list for who is in the NW. Though, I have informed him of the event and asked him to come if he feels like

On the subject of mini meets, I'ld be able to make a Liverpool meet fairly easily. Manchester is probelly easy aswell but with a big journy.

 

It would be good to see the north west boards get bigger like the north easten area

 

I could make a Liverpool meet. Yep, would be great to see the N-W become busier.

 

If we were to do a meet in Liverpool - what would people like to do? It may good to have an idea about what we'll do, rather than wander aimlessly. Liverpool is IMHO better than Manchester for SW merchandise/literature shopping (if that is what people like) as it has two Forbidden Planet-affiliated shops, and they usually have an ok range of SW merchandise in stock.

Would we do something cultural - Tate dock area with all the museums, etc?

 

I've only found 1 Forbinan Planet. Unless you're talking about Worlds Apart as the second one?
