personly i dont think my better half can stand 15 hours of star wars why do you think when we got to york he went off by himself most of the morning - not because he didnt want to be seen with jedi's i think maybe he likes the films but not the whole fan force thing !

its going to be so cool when we do meet ups again me you and jase in full jedi robes walking about - getting grabbed for pics

i like it up there my fav break is berwick upon tweed

 

i am supposed to be going to berwick next year with the family.....

 

Its a very nice place berwick i love it there - apartfrom the camp site there's no nightlife -

a few old pubs and shops - very quiet -

i like to sit on the town's walls on a bench with my pipe lite reading a book facing out to sea .

if you want night life you better get on the train to edinburgh because ther isnt one in berwick

Dave, I was actually up in Cumbria for the week on holiday at my parent's chalet, but either side of the week my parents stayed up with me and on the first Friday they wanted to go to Lindisfarne (partly to show me as I have never been). So we went up there, is a good thing - great place, and the local church right next to my old primary school is St Cuthbert's, so I got to see where he came from
Fortunately for the monks I am tee-total, so their mead was safe, but the day we went there, there had been a tragedy, supposedly a visiting student had got too drunk the night before and had decided to take a swim in the sea and drowned. So I guess boozing was out of the question anyways.
I will make another trip up there again, maybe stay the night next time. It's a great island.

just found out about this little cove from EdgeJedi88 (cheers) I've not been about for a while but these boards helped me divert from some serious exam revision earlier in the year !! - its ok though because I passed

as can be seen from my bios I'm from Middlesbrough (the gateway to European Football )
