Forbidden Planet in Boro is awesome! I was there the other day - much better than Newcastle I thought....

Edgejedi, I go to the middlesbrough forbidden planet every few days! (to look and cry at the things I can't really afford when ive got no lectures ) Its a lot nicer than the newcastle one, but I could have been in there when you were in there and never even noticed you

 

Leigh - you wouldnt have missed my shiny head - it was the only thing that lit up the grim Middlesboro skyline for the afternoon while we were there...I REALLY want that Ben Kenobi figure behind the counter...shame its like £174.99 or summat though....

Aside from the staff stood around gabbing (as always - perfecting their trade of course!) about how 80s movies were 'so misunderstood in their genre' there was only a group of young nu metal types in there...

I picked up a nice Jedi con shirt though that I hadnt seen ever before (shirt colllecting king I am!)

As far as I'm concerned anytime you get together and there is a SciFi flavour then it has the possibilities of being a meet.

 

If we have a mini meet up in middlesbrough should we make a day of it - ie everyone go for a sit down lunch in a chippey - and wonder about as a group of jedi's
