The party was actually a big success, but unfortunately, we were already running late but pressed on to finish our preparations. Several things didn't go quite right so we had to improvise and that cost us a lot of time.

Also, our main presentation, which finally happened, was delayed mainly because our head animator lost 24 hours of time to his day job, so couldn't finish rendering till the middle of the day Saturday (he stayed up the entire night before finishing up the piece), after which, all the footage we had, had to be edited into it's final form into the featurette.

We still had a very crowded room when we finally showed the finished film, which was warmly recieved by everybody in the room.

Everyone will get the chance to see the presentation when it is posted on Youtube later this week.

    I'll keep you informed.

Oh man, it seems like years already. Between the lounge area, plus most of the basement set and the cockpit, I've been working on it since last summer.

The cockpit is just now getting close to being ready for the camera.

By the way, we are organizing an even bigger Star Wars party here in Tacoma. We've already got a very nice location, which we will transform into a cantina for the event. It will by like a one day Star Wars convention in a popular venue.

    Details to come!

Regretably, no. With only 5 weeks to go (give or take) we are now hard pressed to produce little more than an exciting preview to have that ready for C-4. And though I won't be making the trip, several of our team are making the trip, including one of our lead actors and a droid builder.

This production is really taking off now. More people than ever are getting excited about it and for good reason, as this is going to be a fan film like no other. Our CG team has just been enhanced to be able to produce I.L.M. quality FX. And that is the least of the upgrades to the production.

Would you like to become ivolved sirbilly? PM me and I'll give you contact info.

    Also, you can visit: http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/StarWars-TheEyeOfDarkness/

This is going to be most awseome!

That's a surprisingly decent looking mask for what it is. It might work, if we create longer ears for it.

I have another small favor to ask, so look in your PM box later today.
