    ....er.......huh?!

..no, maybe i dont need to know...

TK1571, i deduct from the posts here and there, that you are a stormtrooper.....may i inquire as to where one might purchase such, and if a clonetrooper is available.......

....i sense a disturbance in my wallet.....

There's only one guy in SA that does the armour, but getting him to do it is about as likely as winning x-lotto. Don't know about interstate. Is available from the U.S, but you right. OUCH... & you have to assemble & paint all the pieces yourself.

If you're really lucky you might pick a set up on Ebay. but you are correct in sensing a HUGE disturbance in your wallet....massive...

    Stormtrooper it is I

Ouch on the wallet is right but the american made stuff is the best as far as i am concerned, the local guy is over priced and not screen accurate, u will end up paying the same amount for both and quality of AFX(america) is wicked, roughly around AUD1000-1100 depending on the exchange and what they want to charge u for freight... ebay is ok but i found it was better to contact the seller to see if they sell them outside ebay and save yourself a few bucks, i did that and saved over US$50 on the parts i got shipped over.... I am at moment converting some new pieces of armour to go with my older set :D

Clone troopers!!!! yes there are around but very scarce, not seen anyone mass produce them as yet unlike the stormtroopers...Hope that helps

You might want to consider trooper alternatives. I'm putting together a Tie Pilot costume. Then you only need the helmet, a flight suit and a few other bits and pieces. But it is taking time to get everything - it doesn't come fully assembled :(

Royal guard costumes are fairly basic also.

Either way there is going to be some wallet disturbance :)

... or else get a big cardboard box, paint it up and ... voila! One Gonk Droid [face_laugh]

Most costumes you can find a pattern that is very close and with a bit of imagination if can be altered.

I must thank you AD for the link for the costume pattern. My Fiancee and I went out today and bought that pattern plus the one for Neo's coat found on the same page.

I'd do Han, if someone would give me 500 dollars for the holster and gun :)

Speaking of which, has anyone here bought a replica gun for use in making (like the Mauser, for example, or a pellet gun which someone recommended for the bryar pistol)?
