Novel about the formation of the Republic and the Jedi 25,000 years before ANH

I think that in the future DelRey/Lucasbooks should publish a novel or a series of novels set 25,000 years before ANH about how the Old Republic and Jedi Order formed and maybe how the hyperdrive was invented and where it came from and maybe even the adventures of Xim the Despot.

 

Xim the Despot, was before foundation of the republic and Jedi, IIRC.

 

Who was Xim the Despot ???

 

One of the first major warlords. Xim was in charge of the Tion Hegimony, and IIRC was killed in a battle with the Hutts.

 

Still I think it would be neat if there were novels about Xim the Despot or even how the Corellian system was built.

 

It would be an interesting story for a novel. At least there is no chance whatsoever that they could find ways to insert altar-like Force-users...or is there?

I wish that there were book adaptations of all the comics, like Tales of the Jedi and Dark Empire.

 

Xim is refered to in the Han Solo Trilogy.
