November - A huge month for gamers of all kinds

Ok, so this november we have a few things coming our way.

Halo 2 for Xbox

The new, slimmer version of the PS2

Nintendo DS hits store shevles

Thoughts about the biggest month of gaming since the GC/Xbox war? or which one are you most anticipated about...

 

Don't forget all of the blockbuster PC games that are slated for release next month:

Half Life 2
Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault
EverQuest II
World of Warcraft

With a little luck, the estimated release dates for each won't be pushed back into next year . I'd have to say the one I'm most interested in would definitely be HL2.

 

What about Kotor II? Whens that supposed to be released?

 

December Xbox, February PC.

 

I'm most excited about World of Warcraft. There are constant rumors that it's going to be pushed back even farther because of how much work still needs to be done to make the game shelf-worthy, but I'd imagine that after spending such a long time on big projects that drain million and produce no income, the bean counters over at Blizzard are probably putting a lot of pressure on the executives to release World of Warcraft ASAP. Amazon has it slated for the fifteenth and I've even pre-ordered the collectors edition. I just hope that it gets released, complete or otherwise.

 

Another biggie for NINers is Metroid Prime Echoes

 

Halo 2 is gonna be the big story this winter.

 

Maybe for most people but I'll be getting KOTOR II before I get Halo 2.

 

Isn't Vampire Bloodlines supposed to be out in November? Maybe not a big event for most people but I'm anticipating eagerly

 

Isn't Metroid Prime : Echoes due on American shelves this November?

 

Half Life II has been delayed and postponed so many times that I will beleive the Nov. 2nd date when I have the game in my hands that day. I would not be amazed if it misses the release date again.

Sid Meier's "Pirates!" is also out in November. One of the most beloved computer games of all times is back with all the state-of-the-art trimmings.The early comments have been fantastic. Apparently Meier has kept everything that people loved about the original "Pirates" while taking advantage of the capabilities of Modern computers.Look for a lot of people to be hoisting the Jolly Roger and sailing the Spanish Main.this November.

 

Oh, November is so going to be a sweet gaming month! The games highest on my list are Halo2, KOTRII, and Call of Duty for X-box.

Yes, although its not getting much hype.

Half-Life 2 is GOLD now. Street date is set for November 16th.

But I am looking forward to playing Metroid Prime 2: Echoes on my friend's console. And Halo 2 is almost enough for me to go buy an XBX.

 

I don't think Half-Life 2 is coming to PS2. I think its just for PC.

 

I didn't say 100% I obviously have a PC (I'm pretty sure it's required to post here). But I dislike putting things on it. I only have 8 games on my PC and only 3 are new(er). Medal of Honor: Allied Assualt, UT2004, and KotOR. Call of Duty, Half-Life 2 and Republic Commando are the only likely ones to be added any time soon.

Is Half-Life 2 coming for XBX? I heard about it a while ago but have not heard if it is due out or cancelled. I know 1 is on PS2.

Yeah IGN has it coming to Xbox sometime in 2005. But who knows if that will happen.

 

PC Gamer gave Half-Life 2 a 98& rating claiming "it is aurguably the best game ever made."

Metal Gear Solid 3 comes out in November too.

This Fall/Winter is going to be crazy. With Fable and Battlefront out, I'm looking forward to:

KOTOR II: The Sith Lords
Republic Commando
Those are my top priorities right now.

 

Oh yeah, isn't the new chapter of the Splinter Cell series coming out this month? Chaos Theory. Love that title.
