November Meet

Grr...some dork at work seems to think that I'm going to be working on Saturday. By all accounts but one, the closest I'm getting to work is the UNH train station, so I will purpose to get this straightened out TODAY and let y'all know.

 

And whaddya know...all is well!!! Work issue is all straightened out, and train tix are in. Tony, I've still got your number - mind if I give you a call if the train's really late?

 

I hope I can still come to the meet. I missed two days of school this week (today and yesterday) because I was sick, so my parents may want me to do make-up work this weekend. I'll have to ask them.

 

Tell your folks a little physical exercise like bowling is good for the immune system.

If that doesn't work just hold your breath until they give in.

I asked my mom, and she doesn't seem to have any problem with me going. Now I just have to ask my dad.

I'm going to try and be there around noon, but I have a meeting at work that morning. I hope it doesn't make me late...

 

We are meeting at Pizzaria Unos at noon.

 

I should be able to get there by noon.Not sure how long I can hang around but I wanna at least have lunch with you guys.

We are changing the meet location... the new place is King Lanes near Hynes Convention Center.

Ed, I tried calling you, and I even left a message.
The reason we had to switch meets was cuz the Ryan Family Amusement place is shut down.

 

even tho I didnt make it..I have to agree with Moby.

A little more notice would've been nice.Not 5 minutes before everyone was supposed to show up.

 

I went to both places and I repeat my post from above.

 

We had no idea that the original location was shut down before we tried to go there. Scott checked the website for the place and nothing indicated there was a problem. We really couldn't do much about it other than try to post the new location.

I'm sorry you missed us Ed. We bowled two games and then left because the place was so damn expensive. Ridiculously expensive. I would have loved to stay hours and hours playing pool, but not at $16 an hour.

Sorry everyone who couldn't make it because of this mixup. Usually we don't have to call places to make sure they're still in business, but maybe after today's disaster we will in the future.

 

Ed, sorry we missed you. There was no mention of the alley being closed on the website. We tried to call you, we left a message.

I too was at the bowling alley. but early around 11:20 cause I got out of work at 8:00 a.m. and was not able to get near a computer until 1:30 when I got home

Next time I guess,...I hope.
