Well, I just got confirmation last night. I'm flying out Nov. 13th and will not be able to make it. It's a shame too, as this Chevy's is one I eat at probably once every week to 2 weeks. If you look across the highway from the parking lot, you can see my place of employment.

They have two very nice girls that work behind the bar and always take good care of me with my cold frosties.

While I hate missing another get together, I'm looking forward to seeing my Dad (reason for the trip). I haven't seen him in 2 1/2 years and he'll be somewhat close, if 580 miles is close?!!?

Anywho, drink one for me guys!!

I should be there. I don't know if I'm going to make it for dinner. My primary reason for coming home that weekend is to visit the college I'm thinking of transferring to in Urbana/Champaign that day. But I'll try to get an earlier tour so I can be back in time.

Jon, are you looking at the U of I? I know Champaign quite well! I practically lived there up until I turned 21 because you only have to be 19 to get into the bars and I grew up just east of there (Danville).

Yeah. I'm pretty dead set on going there too. They're the closest school with an Astronomy degree program. Plus, I like the amount of thigns they have going on related to Astronomy. Every day there's some kind of colloquium or guest lecture to attend. Plus, it's not in a to heavily populated area, so hopefully, there will be some really nice dark skies out there.

 

My best friend lives in Rantoul, and teaches in Urbana, and her sister is a vet on staff at the University. It is a great place! There is always something to do when I go up to visit them. So if you need any help getting around, I have sources...

Dajuan, did you check to make sure the trailer is going to be showing with the movie? I guess there is some movies that are not showing it, and it needs to be checked...

 

No, I didn't but I'll call this weekend, unless someone else volunteers to do it for me.

 

I'm going to get off work early. So, I plan on being there.
